Steak lovers would definitely love dining at Ranch & Reef Steaks Shrimps located at F. Torres St, Davao City, just beside Davao Convention Center. We dine on Sunday which cost us higher rate than ordinary weekdays. Nonetheless, the food were superb and delicious! You should try dining here. They offer shrimp tempura, 3 kinds of steaks (which by the way I forgot to list), chicken pasta, Japanese sushi, maki and chicken teriyaki to mention a few. The steaks were juicy and should be taken instantly while hot. For desserts, they have variety of fruits, blueberry cheesecake, mango/pear pudding, eclair, etc.

As an American I am often frustrated that I am unable to find food here in the Philippines (Davao City) that I can understand let alone eat. So when you see a picture of a Philly Cheese steak sandwich and you are from the US you get excited. To top it off the bread looks like real American French bread.
All I needed was to receive an email offering half off. I figured out how to purchase the online coupon. Printed it out. Then I took it to the new mall in Davao City only to find that they wanted a number that was not on the coupon. I decided to pay out of pocket and use the coupon another day just to see if the food was as good as it looked in the pictures.
The waitress was not friendly or attentive (as Filipino waitresses aren't so often). I asked her to bring my drink with the food. Sure enough just as I suspected would happen. The drink came only a few minutes later with no food.
My sandwich came a few minutes before my wife's hot wings. It taste nothing like a Philly cheese steak and the meat was so tough and I was so frustrated by this time I asked the waiter if it was meat or the bottom of someone's shoe.
Not a place I want to go back to. They even asked us to make reservations next time. Did I mention we were the only customers? Now I am thinking....I still have those coupons I paid P500 for. What to do?
For those of you that are saying, it figures, he is an American. Well, my wife is Filipino and she wanted to leave and go to the food court where they sell you food that everyone can cough on, after seeing and trying to eat my sandwich with me.
